This release contains updates for both Dialog environments: the current version at app.getdialog.nl and the new version at platform.getdialog.nl. Below you can read what has changed in each environment.
Current version (app.getdialog.nl)
Reports
Fixes
- Word reports had the proofing language set to English, while the content was in Dutch. As a result, Word marked correct text as misspelled. This has now been fixed.
Inbox and integrations
Improvements
- Synchronisation with Relatics is now more robust and faster, including when handling large amounts of data.
- The integration with ArcGIS is now renewed automatically. You therefore no longer need to set up the integration again periodically.
Fixes
- Importing an email as a contact moment resulted in an error message. This has now been fixed.
- Outlook emails containing both images in the body and regular attachments were not saved correctly as contact moments. This has now been fixed.
Map
Fixes
- A WFS map layer displayed an error message when loading, meaning that the layer was not visible. This has now been fixed.
Minor bugs and cosmetic changes
- In addition, we have made behind-the-scenes improvements to the stability of integrations with, among others, Outlook, BouwApp and Relatics.
New version (platform.getdialog.nl)
Cockpit
Improvements
- The trend view for stakeholders and issues in the cockpit has been improved.
Fixes
- The urgency warning for issues in "My items" also counted closed issues. This has now been fixed.
- Some titles and labels in the cockpit were displayed in the wrong language. This has now been fixed.
- Content in "My items" was displayed without a date. This has now been fixed.
Canvas
Improvements
- The priority of a sticky note is now always visible with a coloured dot. This lets you see at a glance which items are critical.
Fixes
- The overview in Canvas was not displayed correctly. This has now been fixed.
Map
Fixes
- Maps for issues, notifications and client requirements always opened with Utrecht in view instead of the project area. The map now displays your project area and adjusts when you switch projects.
- After changing a project's strategy model, for example to Power/Interest, the map still showed the old strategies. This has now been fixed.
Inbox and integrations
Improvements
- Notifications received from Outlook now retain the complete email, including when there are images in the body. The list shows the email subject, and replies are linked as contact moments.
- The option to save emails as notifications is only shown when the Notifications module is enabled.
Fixes
- Emails from Outlook that were meant to be saved as notifications did appear in the Inbox, but not on the Notifications page. This has now been fixed.
Stakeholders and SOM analysis
Fixes
- In the SOM analysis, you could not set Tension to "unknown" once Interest had been entered. This has now been fixed.
- The SOM analysis did not adjust by level. This has now been fixed.
- Interest and Tension per issue were not carried over to the issue detail page. This has now been fixed.
- The strategies in the SOM analysis did not match those on the stakeholder detail page. This has now been fixed.
Contacts
Fixes
- When creating a contact, an email address and stakeholder were incorrectly mandatory. As in the current version, only the surname is now mandatory.
Scenarios
Improvements
- You can now scroll through the list of items and filter the list by item type.
- Entering weights in the decision matrix is now easier: Backspace works, the arrow keys adjust the value in increments of 0.1, and invalid values are not saved. Scores are recalculated immediately.
- You can now see which solutions are being compared.
Fixes
- The button for adding a new item did not work. This has now been fixed.
- Issues could not always be found, and searching did not filter the list. This has now been fixed.
- The names of items, documents, notifications and content were not always displayed correctly, for example truncated or not updated after a change. This has now been fixed.
- The item count was incorrect, and long names overlapped the score field. This has now been fixed.
- If two people created a new board at the same time, both boards received the same name. This has now been fixed.
Context analysis
Fixes
- When selecting "next", the map did not move to the next item, and items and map pins could not be clicked. This has now been fixed.
Items and detail pages
Improvements
- When linking content to an activity, you now only see content that is eligible for this.
Fixes
- On a detail page, you could not unlink a linked item using the cross or toggle. This has now been fixed.
Levels
Fixes
- When assigning a level to an item, in the details or through bulk editing, you could only see the first layer. You can now see all levels.
Project settings
Improvements
- Long project descriptions are now displayed in full. A counter shows how many characters you can still use.
Recycle bin
Fixes
- Emptying the recycle bin did not work: the deleted items remained. This has now been fixed.
Navigation
Improvements
- When you return to the Inbox or Notifications from a detail page, your search query and page are retained. The calendar also remembers the date you selected.
Fixes
- Login occasionally failed. This has now been fixed.
- The menus under Project settings did not work. This has now been fixed.
Minor bugs and cosmetic changes
- Searching for organisations by keyword resulted in an error message. This has now been fixed.
- In addition, we have made behind-the-scenes improvements to the speed and stability of the application and integrations.
Security
We have made various improvements to protect Dialog and your data even better. You will not notice anything in everyday use, but it keeps the application secure and up to date.
