Training Communications module

For projects aiming to actively engage with their surroundings, Dialog has created the Communications module. This module includes a communications calendar and a complaint overview.
 

Communications calendar

The communications calendar allows you to plan activities and communication methods. Activities can range from construction works to organizing an informational evening where you might send out invitations.

  • You can add new details to the calendar by selecting the relevant date or clicking the baseline_add_circle_black_18dp.pngCalendar item button.
  • Then, choose the type of item you'd like to create: an activity or a communication method.
  • Complete the relevant information and save the new item. 

Tip: If you want the communication method to update when the activity date changes, you can choose the option based on activity date under the header Sending Date when creating the communication method. 

 


Mailing lists

In the detail panel of a communications method, you can select the area for your mailing list. Based on this area, you can create mailing lists with postal addresses and/or email adresses. 

 

Complaint overview

Questions, complaints, and other issues are logged in Dialog as complaints. The complaint overview lets you see which complaints have been received and their current status. You can create a new complaint by dragging an email into the "drag email -> complaint" field. Alternatively, you can also manually create a new complaint. 

  • Click on baseline_add_circle_black_18dp.png complaint
  • Select the type of complaint
  • Add a description of the complaint
  • Select the responsible user
  • Complete the details of the complaint reporter. This can be done by selecting a contact person or by adding the contact details manually 

Handling an complaint can be done by clicking on the status in the detail panel of the incident.

  • Add a handling date
  • Complete details on how the complaint is handled
  • Click on 'Handled'.
