Settings
Follow the steps below to set up the integration from the project environment. It is also possible to create the integration from Project Management (Enterprise License).
- Click on the settings icon at the top right of the page in Dialog.
- Then click on "Settings" and go to the "Integrations" tab, and click on "Connect project".
- In the panel that opens, click on "Connect me".
- You will be redirected to the ArcGIS Online website, where you log in with your ArcGIS Online credentials.
- After successfully logging in, you will be redirected back to Dialog, and after a while, the "Connected" button will appear.
- Click on this button to further configure the integration.
- In the first dropdown menu, select the map layers that should be visible in the Dialog map. Note: Before these map layers become visible to other Dialog users, they will need to link their personal ArcGIS Online account to Dialog. See "Personal Integration" for how that works.
- In the second dropdown menu, select which items from Dialog should be visible in ArcGIS Online. These items will then be automatically bundled into a feature layer with the name of the Dialog project.
Personal integration
Once the project integration is set up, other users can gain access to the ArcGIS Online map layers by linking their account. To link the account, follow these steps:
- Click on the settings icon at the top right of the page in Dialog.
- Then click on "Settings" and go to the "Integrations" tab, and click on "Connect me" under the section "Personal integrations".
- In the panel that opens, click on "Connect me".
- After successfully logging in, you will be redirected back to Dialog, and after a while, the "Connected" button will appear.
- The map layers that have been shared with the Dialog project and that you have access to as an ArcGIS Online user will now be visible in the Dialog map.
