Settings
Follow the steps below to set up the integration from the project environment. It is also possible to create the integration from Project Management (Enterprise License).
- First, register a Client App in the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. Instructions for this can be found here: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/add-items.htm.
- Use the following Redirect URI: https://app.getdialog.nl/instellingen/integraties.
- Save the Client ID and Client Secret to use in Dialog.
- Now, go to Dialog and click on the settings icon at the top right of the page.
- Click on "Settings", then on the "Integrations" tab, and then on "Connect project" under ArcGIS.
- In the panel that opens, click on "ArcGIS Enterprise".
- Enter the URL of your ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, the Client ID, and the Client Secret.
- Then click on "Connect me".
- You will be redirected to the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, where you log in with your ArcGIS Enterprise credentials.
- After successful login, you will be redirected back to Dialog, and after a while, the "Connected" button will appear.
- Click on this button to further configure the integration.
- In the first dropdown menu, select the map layers that should be visible in the Dialog map. Note: Before these map layers become visible to other Dialog users, they will need to link their personal ArcGIS Enterprise account to Dialog. See "Personal Integration" for how to do that.
- In the second dropdown menu, select which items from Dialog should be visible in ArcGIS Enterprise. These items will then be automatically bundled into a feature layer with the name of the Dialog project.
Volg de volgende stappen om de integratie in te stellen vanuit de projectomgeving. Het is ook mogelijk om de integratie vanuit Projectbeheer (Bedijfslicentie) aan te maken.
Personal integration
Once the project integration is set up, other users can access the ArcGIS Online map layers by linking their accounts.
To link the account:
- Click on the gear icon at the top right of the page in Dialog.
- Then click on "Settings", then on the "Integrations" tab, and then on "Connect me" under the "Personal Integrations" section.
- In the panel that opens, click on "Connect me".
- After successful login, you will be redirected back to Dialog, and after a while, the "Connected" button will appear.
- The map layers that have been shared with the Dialog project and to which you have access as an ArcGIS Enterprise user will now be visible in the Dialog map.
